Shovana Narayn is a trained and one of the most famous Kathak dancers. She is a multi-dimensional girl with dual careers. She is pursuing her dancing and at the other hand she is also a career officer with Indian Audit and Accounts Service. Though she has completed her master’s degree in physics. She had done various international collaborations with international dance styles like Ballet and other western classical dance forms. She had learnt Kathak under Guru Birju Maharaj as a disciple. Because of her dedication towards dance and managing two careers as well representing country on the international platforms, she was awarded with Padma Shri in 1992.
